"National Conservatism"-Conference: "We Cannot Build a Good Future with Ideologies" - Cardinal Müller

Cardinal Gerhard Müller closed the first day of the current "National Conservatism"-Conference in Brussels, that Emir Kir, the local mayor, was unable to prevent.

Kir is of Turkish origin. He became a socialist, falsely presented himself as a "graduate in political science", has been a member of the discredited European Parliament since 2014 and is a denier of the Turkish genocide against the Armenians.

Although the police siege didn't allow anyone to enter, including the French presidential candidate Eric Zemmour, participants managed to smuggle food and a few bottles of wine into the venue.

The conference is being attended by leading European politicians, including Hungary's Prime Minister Orban. He wrote on Twitter about the police siege: "I guess they couldn't take free speech any more. The last time they tried to silence me with the police was in '88 when the communists used them on me. We didn't give up then and we won't give up now!"

In an on-stage interview during the conference, Cardinal Müller said that "the most basic human right is freedom of religion and conscience". He explained that "we are not slaves of the state" and that [what was once known as] "the modern democratic state developed from free citizens". And: "We cannot build a good future with ideologies. We need faith, and faith is the acceptance of God.

Cardinal Müller recalled that when he began as a professor in Munich, "people were already strongly influenced by [left-wing] ideologies," but that dissent was still allowed: "That is not the case today," he added: "We must fight for the independence of the university from political and ideological influence.

Even some media of the oligarchs and politicians, including some who are part of the regime, such as Prime Ministers Alexander De Croo (Belgium) and Giorgia Meloni (Italy), verbally criticised the police siege as "unacceptable" [but in fact accepted it].

If nothing else, the police intervention made this conference interesting and famous all over Europe.

Muller don't get it right when he said:
"We must fight for the independence of the university from political and ideological influence."
Such his fight will brings nothing.
Maybe an utopian society.
Which can't exist, of course.
No, my dear cardinal. You must bring Crucifixes in every school again, and with them our Lord Christ the King in front of everything everywhere!
That is ideological influence …More

No, my dear cardinal. You must bring Crucifixes in every school again, and with them our Lord Christ the King in front of everything everywhere!

That is ideological influence you must fight for! Not against it.
You can't have nothing!
You should know better.

We are for Christ, or we are for Baal!
There is no third way!

And you, you should be for Christ, right?!
