Perry Como (1912-2001) He was seventh of thirteen children, whose parents immigrated from Italy. At age 14 Perry's father became unable to work. Como and his brothers became the support of the household. At 17, Como met his bride to be and were married for 65 yrs. until his wife had died suddenly which devasted Perry. Both were Roman Catholic.

Perry Como was an example for all youth. He had a beautiful voice. You could understand the words he was singing...He did not have to yell to make himself understood or heard. He was a family man.
