"Many European Abbeys Will Disappear" - Norbertine Abbot General

Many European abbeys will disappear in the near future, Abbot Jos Wouters of the Norbertine monastic order, told ND.nl on 22 April. He is the abbot general of 38 abbeys worldwide.
The interview was prompted by reporting on conditions in Berne Abbey, Netherlands, where there is said to have been a years-long culture of fear and power struggles.
Abbot Wouters notes that monasteries are receiving fewer and fewer vocations.
According to him, interested people are increasingly psychologically vulnerable individuals: "Out of a survival instinct, abbeys accept such people, even though they are completely unsuitable."
Abbot Wouters believes that his order is incapable of properly training individuals with "baggage".
He warns that such people compensate for their "inner weakness" by becoming overly bossy.
"Religion then functions like an exoskeleton, as with a lobster, which has no skeleton inside: it is hard on the outside to hide the weakness within."

This also happens in the Industrial workforce. With an inexperienced person placed into a position of power and authority, power quickly goes to his head and leadership skills are lost.
A "How to Become a Good Supervisor" seminar focuses on transitioning from individual contributor to leader by mastering communication, conflict resolution, and performance management. Key topics include active listening, setting clear expectations, delivering constructive feedback, and building team trust. These seminars, often available via SkillPath, AMA, or online modules, emphasize practical tools to boost team morale and productivity.

A New Worry for Republicans: Latino Catholics Offended by Trump
In 2024, the president made significant inroads with Hispanics. But in a competitive Arizona congressional district, voters now express dismay at his feud with the pope.
nytimes.com/…26/04/24/us/politics/trump-pope-lati…When Stuart Sepulvida arrives at St. Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Parish in Tucson, Ariz., for Mass, which he attends most mornings, he passes a display honoring local soldiers and encouraging parishioners to pray for their safety. Hundreds of small cards record their names: Robles, Arenas, Grajeda. A portrait of Pope Leo XIV hangs across the lobby.
Mr. Sepulvida, 81, is a Vietnam veteran whose patriotism and Catholicism are deeply intertwined. He voted for President Trump three times but has never felt more betrayed by an American president than when Mr. Trump denounced Pope Leo as “weak on crime” and “terrible for foreign policy.”

Leo XIV on Anglican Dialogue: Overcoming Differences, No Matter How Intractable They Seem

Meeting for the first time with Anglican Dame Sarah Mullally, who holds the title Archbishop of Canterbury, Leo XIV encourages Catholics and Anglicans to proclaim Christ together.
They prayed together in the Urban VIII Chapel in the Apostolic Palace.
Leo XIV spoke about a fake archbishop who was an Anglican layman, and a pope who was far from saintly.
“When archbishop Michael Ramsey and Saint Pope Paul VI announced the first theological dialogue between Anglicans and Catholics [in 1966], they spoke of seeking the ‘restoration of complete communion in faith and sacramental life’. Certainly this ecumenical journey has been complex. While much progress has been made on some historically divisive issues, new problems have arisen in recent decades, rendering the pathway to full communion more difficult to discern.
I know that the Anglican Communion is also facing many of these same questions at this time.
Nevertheless, we must not allow these continuing challenges to prevent us from using …Bivule

Francis to Male Caregiver in Concubinage: “Do They Give You Communion?”

“Pope Francis was like a second father to me, and I still miss him deeply,” said his nurse, Massimiliano Strappetti, 56, in an interview with Corriere.it on April 19.
Francis hated hospital stays and joked whenever he had to go to Gemelli Hospital: “You’ll see—the cardinals are preparing the conclave now.”
“Every morning when he woke up, he would ask me, ‘Hello, who died today?’ That was just how he was,” Strappetti recalled.
One day, Strappetti told Francis that he was divorced and living with another woman. The pope replied: “And what’s the problem?”
He then asked: “Do they let you receive Communion? If not, tell me the names of those priests who refuse - I’ll go speak to them myself!”
For Strappetti, Francis was a “surprising” pope.

Sadly, this poor woman has renounced many tenets of the Catholic and Apostolic Faith. This is why she is the cause of schism within Anglicanism - even among many who support the ordination of women in that communion. While Pope Leo says what he has in common with her is witnessing to Christ, she witnesses to a false christ of her own making - her stance on abortion amounts to infanticide - and her support of the LGBT+ lifestyle is an abomination. She is not a Christian. She is an apostate.

‘Admirable Life Of Patriarch Saint Joseph’ by Venerable Mary of Agreda; Chapter IV; ‘THE SUSPICIONS OF ST. JOSEPH INCREASE,’; part II; pages 89-95

[Venerable Mary of Agreda – XVII Century AD; Agreda, Spain; Mystic; Writer; ‘Blue Nun’]
“Chapter IV ~ THE SUSPICIONS OF ST. JOSEPH INCREASE, AND HE RESOLVES TO LEAVE HIS SPOUSE—THE ANGEL OF THE LORD DECLARES TO TIIM THE MYSTERY OF THE INCARNATION.
The passion of jealousy produces sharp wounds in him who is attacked by it,
and no one ever felt its effects so sensibly as St. Joseph, though, in fact, there was no foundation for it, if he had but known the truth. He was endowed with a singular intelligence to penetrate the sanctity and the lovely character of his spouse. But this, in augmenting his esteem for her whom he was about to lose, augmented his sorrow to find himself necessitated to abandon her.
St. Joseph was not subject to the disorders of common jealousy, in which the passions of concupiscence are engaged, which neither reason nor prudence can vanquish. The jealousy of the saint arose only from the depth of his love and a conditional suspicion, viz.: whether his chaste spouse …Bivule

"St. Joseph awoke, informed of the mystery which had been revealed to him, and instructed that his spouse was the Mother of God. He found himself divided between the joy of his happiness, and his unhoped for dignity, and sorrow for what he had been about to do. He prostrated himself instantly on the ground, and made, with humble fear and inconceivable contentment, heroic acts of humility and gratitude.
He gave thanks to God for the mystery which had been disclosed to him, and for having made him the spouse of her whom He had chosen to be His mother—him, who did not deserve to be her servant. The doubts and uncertainty which St. Joseph had suffered, laid in him the foundations of the most profound humility, necessary for him to whom was confided the dispensation of the most holy counsels of the Lord. The remembrance of what had passed served as a lesson for his future life."

In Principio

"St. Joseph saw not the angel through any image or form—he heard only the internal voice, and understood the mystery. He heard what St. Gabriel said, “ that he should not fear to remain with Mary his wife, because her condition was the work of the Holy Ghost. That she should bring forth a son, whom he should call Jesus; that He should deliver His people from their sins; and that in this mystery would be accomplished the prophecy of Isaiah —‘A Virgin shall conceive and bring forth a son, who shall be called Emmanuel, which means, God with us.’” We perceive from the words of the celestial ambassador, that the saint had separated from the pure Mary in intention, since he was commanded to receive her without fear."

THE ISRAELI GENOCIDE IN GAZA - Source: instagram.com/reel/DXe3ERVCFpi/ - Since the Israeli offensive began in October 2023, the scale of the damage inflicted on the civilian population in Gaza has reached unprecedented levels. Estimates vary depending on the source and methodology, but multiple analyses indicate that civilians constitute a vast majority of the dead. By early 2026, more than 75,000 deaths had been recorded in total, and independent studies suggest that women, children, and the elderly alone account for more than half of all fatalities. Many assessments place the proportion of civilians at around 70–80% or higher, reflecting the density of the urban environment and the intensity of the bombing. - Related: 1. St. Louis de Montfort - April 28
Priest (1673 - 1716)
Saint Louis-Marie Grignion de Montfort
(31 January 1673 – 28 April 1716) was a French Roman Catholic priest and confessor. He was known in his time as a preacher and was made a missionary apostolic by Pope Clement XI. He was born in Montfort-sur-Meu, the eldest surviving child of eighteen born to Jean-Baptiste and Jeanne Robert Grignion. His father was a notary.
Louis-Marie passed most of his infancy and early childhood in Iffendic, a few kilometers from Montfort, where his father had bought a farm. At the age of 12, he entered the Jesuit College of St. Thomas Becket in Rennes, where his uncle was a parish priest. He was then given the opportunity, through a benefactor, to go to Paris to study at the renowned Seminary of Saint-Sulpice. When he arrived in Paris, it was to find that his benefactor had not provided enough money for him, so he lodged in a succession of boarding houses, living among the very poor, in the meantime attending …

Profile
Born poor. Studied in Paris, France, and ordained in 1700. While a seminarian he delighted in researching the writings of Church Fathers, Doctors and Saints as they related to the Blessed Virgin Mary, to whom he was singularly devoted.
Under Mary‘s inspiration, he founded the Daughters of Divine Wisdom, a religious institute of women devoted to the care of the desititute, and a brother organization, the Brothers of Saint Gabriel. During this work, he began his apostolate of preaching the Rosary and authentic Marian devotion. He preached so forcefully and effectively against the errors of Jansenism that he was expelled from several dioceses in France. In Rome Pope Clement XI conferred on him the title and authority of Missionary Apostolic, which enabled him to continue his apostolate after returning to France. He preached Mary everywhere and to everyone. A member …Bivule

Prevost obstinately rejects the authority of God and defies the Holy Spirit.
Leo Affirms Francis’ Blessing Of Gay Couples
Saint Paul teaches us that anyone who rejects the instructions to live in holiness and disobeys the Will of God—which consists precisely in the requirement that we Christians live in holiness and abstain from all sexual immorality—is not rejecting a human authority; rather, on the contrary, such a person is rejecting the Supreme Authority, which is the authority of God. Such a person rejects and defies the Holy Spirit.
In other words, Prevost is committing the sin of blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
