Pope Francis’ personal diary is set to be published by the Vatican next month, in a volume curated by his longtime friend and ghostwriter Cardinal Victor Manuel Fernández.
Scheduled to appear on bookshelves on November 24th, the “Personal Diary of Pope Francis” presents the late pope’s own writings spanning a period of 32 years.
It is curated by Cardinal Fernández and contains private notes that Francis made between December 20, 1992, and August 18, 2024. Fernández’s own comments on the notes are found alongside the original diary entries.

A strongly-worded statement issued by the diocese said that Bishop James Beckman had withdrawn all faculties, permissions, and authorizations previously granted to Fr. David Mary Engo for ministry within the diocese. “He is not authorized to exercise public priestly ministry anywhere within the Diocese of Knoxville.”
In accordance with Traditionis Custodes, all diocesan Traditional Latin Masses (TLMs) in the Diocese of Knoxville were suppressed on January 1, 2026.

DURHAM, N.C. — The Diocese of Raleigh hosted its first multicultural celebration honoring St. Kateri Tekakwitha — the first North American Indigenous saint — July 11 at Holy Cross Church. Discussions, prayer, native traditional dance, presentations and even the lunch menu were built around the theme: Sacred Earth, Sacred Unity: Walking Together with St. Kateri Tekakwitha.
After a musical prelude of African American spirituals led by Harry Taylor, director of the cathedral's spiritual choir, the ecumenical event began with a welcome by Jennifer Jones, administrator for the African Ancestry Ministry and Evangelization Network and Native American Catholic Community.

Confirmed: Pope Leo XIV has appointed Cardinal Mauro Gambetti, 60, as Metropolitan Archbishop of Chieti-Vasto.

Parishioners in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, are mourning the loss of their long-time spiritual home after a fire tore through All Saints Orthodox Church Wednesday night.
The church was gutted by the blaze on September 30, the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. No injuries were reported, and the cause remains under investigation.
“It is with tremendous sorrow that we inform you all that our beloved All Saints parish burned in a fire last night,” the church said in a statement.
