Something "doesn’t add up" with Leo XIV’s planned surgery for a 3 mm pulmonary nodule. Today, Leo XIV, 71, personally announced that he will undergo surgery for a small pulmonary nodule detected during recent medical examinations. The Vatican press office – notorious for downplaying the health problems of popes – confirmed that the procedure has been scheduled and that hospitalization is expected to last approximately seven days. According to Corriere.it, hospitalization is expected to begin next Wednesday. Infobae.com reports that sources at Rome’s Gemelli Hospital indicated that the lesion measures three millimeters. Dr. Ana María Putruele, a pulmonologist, former head of the Pulmonology Division at the José de San Martín Clinical Hospital (UBA), and adjunct consulting professor of pulmonology at UBA, expressed surprise at the reported size: “Three millimeters is actually very small to be able to remove surgically.” Given the lesion’s reported size, the specialist suggested that the …Ibindi
Your Response To God Determines Your Eternity The gospel reading likens the kingdom of heaven to a wedding feast, where God is the king, and Jesus is the groom. The invitation is not to be a guest but to be the bride, symbolizing a spiritual union with Christ through love and fidelity. This union, prefigured by the Eucharist, is a profound privilege and responsibility that requires a commitment to love and faithfulness to God. Fr. Leo XIV announces lung surgery following discovery of nodule. Pope Leo XIV, 71, unexpectedly announced during Sunday's Angelus prayer in St. Peter's Square that he will undergo lung surgery in the coming days. Doctors discovered a nodule in one of his lungs during recent examinations. The Pope said it was detected at a very early stage. The Vatican said the operation would take place early next week at Rome's Agostino Gemelli Hospital, with an expected hospital stay of one week. No cancer diagnosis has been announced, and it remains unclear whether the nodule is benign or malignant.
Leo XIV will have surgery next week to remove a nodule in his lung.
US Bishop prohibits celebration facing the Lord (ad orientem). On October 2, Bishop Jeffrey Walsh, 60, of Gaylord, Michigan, issued a decree restricting the celebration of the Mass towards the Lord. It takes effect on October 15. Under the new rules, all Sunday and holy day Masses must be read - like a talk or show - facing the people. On weekdays, no more than two Masses per parish may be celebrated ad orientem, and only after consultation with the parish council and appropriate catechesis. Weddings, funerals, and other Masses with congregations must also be celebrated facing the people. Masses according to the 1962 Missal are exempt. The bishop invokes paragraph 299 of the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), claiming it favors celebration versus populum. However, the text of GIRM 299 does NOT require Mass to be celebrated facing the people. It recommends a freestanding altar that can be walked around to incense it with a thurible and permits celebration versus populum. It …Ibindi
Notice this is being said by a Bishop who appears to be preparing to offer Mass in a gymnasium. You can see the cruets, chalice, paten, etc. on a little table behind him. Of course he cares nothing for a Mass offered to God (i.e. ad orientem) with due sacrality and wants to suppress it since it is a reproach to his own humanistic viewpoint.

Leo XIV appoints another Bishop for England. He defended a homosexual Eucharist. Today, Pope Leo XIV appointed Bishop Timothy Menezes, 56, as the Bishop of Brentwood, succeeding Bishop Alan Williams, 75. Menezes has served as Auxiliary Bishop of Birmingham since his episcopal consecration in July 2024. As such, he defended the periodic homosexual Eucharists at St Patrick's parish in Coventry. The homosexual group there emerged from the Synodal process. Menezes wrote a June 1, 2025 statement about the "LGBTQ+ Vigil Welcome Mass" on May 10, 2025 : “In my conversations with some members of the group, they find attending Mass in a parish difficult against the backdrop of what they sometimes see to be a Church that does not accept them. This means that they find a Mass at which they know that they are accepted, which is a first step to hopefully full integration in our parish communities.” Notably, Bishop Menezes commented in support of the homosex Eucharist although Coventry was not within …Ibindi
Rache? Five life lessons we can learn from birds We like to think of ourselves as the smartest creatures on Earth. We build homes, earn money, make plans, and worry about the future. Meanwhile, a tiny bird outside the window often lives by simple rules that we somehow struggle to follow. Watch birds closely and you may notice that there is a surprising amount of wisdom in the way they live. 1. Birds don’t stay where they can no longer survive. When the weather turns cold and food becomes scarce, migratory birds leave. They do not remain simply because they are familiar with the nest they built there. Yet people sometimes stay for years in places, jobs, or relationships filled with disrespect, pain, or indifference because change feels frightening. Sometimes protecting your peace requires the courage to leave what no longer allows you to grow. 2. Birds don’t stop singing because no one is listening. A robin does not wait for applause. A songbird does not ask whether anyone approves of its voice …Ibindi
