– Folha de S. Paulo, May 16, 1984 – by Plinio Corrêa de Oliveira We still live — and increasingly so — under the banner of openness. Therefore, comments on current Brazilian affairs often mention this. ‘Openness’ here means the freedom for everyone to think, speak, act, move freely, and do more or less whatever they want; a freedom that constantly expands and therefore has no clear limits. Many believed that once this freedom was established, everything in the country would be heading toward resolution. They overlooked that liberalizations without clear boundaries neither create nor strengthen true freedom. Since they tend to allow everyone to do whatever they want, these liberalizations can actually lead to chaos, and eventually to an even worse dictatorship. In fact, undefined liberalization inevitably turns chaotic, and gradually, a terrible enemy emerges before them. This enemy is an unwritten law, not created through legislation, but painfully real, howling, originating from the …More

Pavel had lied and said, Russia wanted to suppress and control him. I thought that was pretty underhanded of him to lie like that and try to make out as if Russia was trying to control him. They were trying to get him to block terrorists. But he kept refusing. There are also scams from Ukraine wiping out bank accounts on the elderly and young women. Just like they do everywhere else. Including America! I was not happy with his lying about Russia. And I don't trust him. He refused to block anyone who was dangerous. Then what's there to trust?
Rev. Gerald Murray Questions Vatican's Rupnik Trial: The New York-based canon lawyer criticises the lack of transparency in the Vatican's canonical trial against Marko Rupnik. "Why don't we know who the judges are?" he asked talking to Raymond Arroyo on 25 July. Rev Murray also pointed out that "we don't know which charges" are being levelled against Rupnik. Finally, he argues that victims who provided evidence should have the right to participate in the process. "The whole thing is a horrific problem."

The Epstein files indicate hundreds of crimes were committed, mostly sexual in nature. The perpetrators need to be arrested and held accountable. So far only two have been arrested and none are American. I can think of 15 off the top of my head. God Bless Thomas Massie for his efforts in transparency.

We are experiencing a huge rise in our food bills. And many foods are disappearing. Many people can't afford to eat a decent meal anymore. With the west and US trying to cripple Russia and starve her, it is obvious it isn't working. Instead it has backfired on us. I think there were close to 40,000 sanctions on Russia in the beginning of this year. Trump put more on them. And not only planning to put a huge package of sanctions on Russia, but he is encouraging everyone else to do the same. I will first post this video. Don't go beyond the food market. He made me very hungry. After the market he will do a small walk around the city of Saint Petersburg. Then he is stuffing his face again. So be ready. He orders two different soups. Stroganoff, fish and other delicious foods. Where did he put all that food? Your guess is as good as mine. --- Russian Street Food Market!! | Saint Petersburg, Russia! --- This person I have posted before. It's only a month old. 1 kilo is 2.205 a lb. Just …More
Pro-homosexual Archbishop John C. Wester of Santa Fe, New Mexico, defended "our Muslim neighbors' right to worship" in a July 27 statement. He had heard in recent weeks concerns from some residents regarding the proposal to build a mosque and community center in Albuquerque's North Valley. "Our Muslim neighbors have the same God-given and constitutionally protected right to worship freely as every other faith community, including our own. Defending that right is not only a civic duty but a core element of Catholic teaching", the Archbishop wrote. According to Monsignor Wester, supporting the construction of a mosque is entirely consistent with Catholic tradition and moral commitments. He urged Catholics to "choose respect, dialogue, and peaceful coexistence." In 2025, it emerged that, Archbishop Wester promoted and lived with a priest who had spent ten years in a registered homosexual relationship. Picture: AI, #newsXofkbkkgnx

The heat has already become one of the main sources of discontent among visitors. On social media, comments from tourists in various languages are multiplying, complaining about high temperatures in the galleries, made worse by the huge influx of people who travel the unique exhibition route every day... ...According to reports circulating in museum circles, in recent days there was a malfunction of the system in the room dedicated to Henri Matisse, where the original preparatory cartoons for the stained glass windows of the Chapel of the Rosary in Vence are kept. These are particularly delicate works. Matisse made these large cartoons by applying and gluing colored, cut papers onto a base support, a technique that makes the material especially sensitive to temperature changes and, above all, to humidity. Again according to reports, the malfunction caused hot and humid air to enter the room just as Rome was experiencing extreme temperatures outside. Some photos taken by tour guides …More
