Worse than Germany: Milan Archdiocese offers Buddhism course ahead of World Youth Day. The Archdiocese of Milan, led by Archbishop Mario Delpini, is offering five free online lessons on Buddhism from October 26 to November 23 to prepare young Catholics for World Youth Day in Seoul, South Korea, in August 2027. The course, titled In the Footsteps of Buddha, is organized by the Carlo Maria Martini Centre in cooperation with the University of Milano-Bicocca. It is part of the archdiocese's official WYD preparations. Participants will study Buddha's teachings, Theravada, Mahayana, Zen and Korean Buddhism.
